Data and code from "Fossil leaves reveal drivers of herbivore functional diversity during the Cenozoic"

This package contains data of insect damage on fossil leaves from 32 fossil floras at 16 locations in central Europe, Iceland and Svalbard covering the entire Cenozoic period (66 to 2 million years ago). Along with the raw data we provide R code to reproduce the analysis from the paper. For details about how to run the R code please have a look at the README.txt file in the package. For details about the methods (e.g., field sampling or background of particular analyses) we refer to the original publication.
