Bulk RNA sequencing data of intact and digested rice root for Single-cell RNA-seq protoplasting induced gene filtering

We report raw bulk RNA sequencing data of intact rice roots and digested rice roots Overall design: Intacted roots (directly harvested from gel grown conditions) and digested roots (protoplasts + undigested chunks) were havested. Samples were frozen in liquid nitrogen and RNA was isolated using the Zymo MagBead RNA Isolation kit. RNA was used as input into the Lexogen QuantSeq 3' FWD RNA-Seq library preparation procedure. Libraries were indexed and pooled on an Illumina NextSeq. Reads were aligned to Michigan State University Rice genome v7 counted with HTSeq-Count.
