Attitudes towards the current state of the European Union.<br>Topics: EU image; development of EU image over the last year; preferred statement with regard to the European Union: respondent is in favour of the European Union and the way it is working at present, respondent is rather in favour of the European Union but not the way it is working at present, respondent is rather sceptical of the European Union but would be ready to change the opinion if the way it works was really changed, respondent is opposed to the idea of the European Union in general; general direction things are going in: own country, EU, personal life; most important issues to be prioritized by the European Parliament; EU should only provide funds to Member States conditional upon their government’s implementation of the rule of law and of democratic principles; importance of putting respect of EU core values as a priority in the relations with major international actors (e.g., USA, China, Russia); satisfaction with solidarity between EU member states in fighting the Coronavirus pandemic; satisfaction with the handling of the vaccination strategy by: national government, EU; attitude towards the following statements: European Union is playing a key role in ensuring access to COVID-19 vaccines in the own country, getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is a civic duty, public authorities are not sufficiently transparent about COVID-19 vaccines, benefits outweigh possible risks, EU Digital COVID certificate is the safest means for free travel in Europe during the pandemic; attitude towards selected statements on the EU recovery plan ‘NextGenerationEU‘: will help own country overcome economic and social damage brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, will have positive impact on personal or professional situation, will help own country to be better prepared for future challenges, national government can be trusted to use the ‘NextGenerationEU’ funds properly, there must be transparency and effective control on how the ‘NextGenerationEU’ funds are spent, regional governments and municipalities and civil society should be consulted on how the ‘NextGenerationEU’ money is spent; concern about the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the financial situation of the own household.
