This dataset provides information (samples) for the distribution of peak inter-story drift and absolute acceleration EDPs for a three-story concrete moment-resisting frame exposed to three different stochastic ground motion models. Its creation follows the formulation used in Kyprioti and Taflanidis (2021) and in Kyprioti and Taflanidis (2022) where the objective was calibration and validation of stochastic emulation models for earthquake engineering applications.
The structure is the three-story concrete MRF building described in detail in the attached PDF file, and the EDPs correspond to all inter-story drifts and all absolute floor accelerations (six quantities of interest in total). Three different stochastic ground motion models are examined, as detailed in the attached PDF file. The dataset corresponds to samples for the EDPs for different structural and seismic hazard inputs. These samples represent the aleatoric (ground-motion to ground-motion) variability for the EDP distribution.
