SME fundraisers dominated the equity crowdfunding landscape in Europe in 2022, particularly in Southern Europe, where 92.5 percent of all equity fundraisers were SMEs. SMEs were also the primary fundraisers in lending models in most regions, with 67.1 percent, 58.1 percent, and 66.5 percent in Western, Northern, and Southern Europe, respectively.
