Natural gas penetration rate in Russia 2011-2023

The natural gas penetration rate across households in Russia has gradually increased since 2011, reaching 73.8 percent at the end of 2023, up 0.8 percentage points from the previous year. In total, over 453 billion cubic meters of natural gas were consumed in the country in 2023.
