The goal of this study is to describe the bacterial community of the horseshoe crab spawning beach, Plumb Beach, identify and comparing the community composition in areas with and without juvenile crabs, looking for correlates with other environmental variables. To understand more about the relationship between sediment and horseshoe crabs, the gut and fecal microbiome of juvenile horseshoe crabs at Plumb Beach were sampled.
