DNA sequencing of stool samples from 31 hematopoietic stem cell transplantation recipients (15 cases/16 controls) enrolled in a phase I dose-escalation trial of a fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) prebiotic. The primary study goal was to determine the tolerability of FOS as a microbiome targeted therapeutic. A secondary goal of the study was to characterize the gut microbiome of study participants.
