A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF DIPLOMATIC LEXICON IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK

The present study examines the linguistic aspects of diplomatic lexicon in English and Uzbek languages from a comparative and linguocultural perspective. Diplomatic vocabulary represents a highly specialized subsystem of language characterized by precision, neutrality, and functional stability. The article analyzes lexical, semantic, stylistic, and pragmatic features of diplomatic terminology, highlighting both universal tendencies and language-specific characteristics. Special attention is paid to the influence of sociocultural factors, historical development, and communicative strategies in shaping diplomatic discourse. The findings demonstrate that despite structural and cultural differences, both languages share common principles of diplomatic communication aimed at clarity, politeness, and conflict avoidance.
