Sperm Methylome of Murrah Buffalo

Semen samples from Murrah buffalo bulls were collected from the Artificial Breeding Research Center, NDRI, Karnal. The artificial vagina method was used to collect semen from Murrah buffalo bulls maintained under similar nutrition and management conditions. The animals were then categorized based on various semen quality parameters: seasonally affected (SA) and seasonally not affected (SNA). The DNA was isolated from the sperm cells of these animals and sequenced using RRBS. The Zymo-Seq RRBS Library Kit was used to construct the RRBS libraries. NGS sequencing was done using the Novaseq 6000 Illumina platform, and NGS paired-end data in FastQ files were generated.
