Ardipithecus ramidus ankle provides evidence for African ape-like vertical climbing in the earliest hominins

The dataset contains metrics collected on 3D surface models of the talus (relative surface areas, talocrural joint mediolateral and proximodistal curvatures, and angles between surface measured using least-squares planes) and linear distances collected on the talus using calipers. The sample includes humans, non-human hominoids, Old World monkeys, New World monkeys, and fossil members of each of those groups.
