The 3D model presents a digital reconstruction of a scabbard slide found in Vimose, Denmark. Date: 2nd –3rd century AD. Description: A part of wooden scabbard with a completely preserved scabbard slide. The scabbard slide is mounted on the outside and is used to fix the scabbard to the baldric. It is made from iron. It is trapezoid-shaped and has a rolled over top-end (like Carnap type IIIBI-2). Width scabbard slide 13 mm; length 82 mm. Literature: Miks, C.
