Chrysochromulina tobin was recovered from a brackish water lake. P5 is an alga-bacterial consortium containing solely Sphingomonas. Cultures were maintained on a 12 hour light (100uE):12 hour dark photoperiod, 20C, and salinity level 16mM; the sample was collected after 6hr of dark period
