Map depicts utility scale power plants (with nameplate capacity of 1 MW or more). Hydroelectric plants are designated as a renewable energy source if their nameplate capacity is 30 MW or less. Renewables include Biomass, Geothermal, Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal, Small Hydroelectric, and Wind. Counties without symbols had no utility-scale plants.
