Pairwise competition assay in liquid cultures between E. coli B strains of different aspect ratios

Pairwise competitions (mixed 1:1) between the <i>Eschericia coli </i>B strains with different aspect ratios (WT is longest and AK shortest):<br>Sample 1: WT-GFP + AS-RFPSample 2: AK-GFP + AS-RFP<br>Sample 3: WT-GFP + AK-RFPSample 4: WT-RFP + AS-GFP<br>Sample 5: AK-RFP + AS-GFPSample 6: WT-RFP + AK-GFP<br>The strain combinations are grown in liquid medium (M63+glucose) under constant shaking and flow cytometry done at the onset (t=1) and again after 8h (t=6) of incubation at 37 degrees.
