Juglans mandshurica Maxim is a hermaphroditic plant belonging to the genusJuglans in the family Juglandaceae.There are mainly twomating types: protogyny and protandry.The protogyny was named C and the female buds were named T1 with three replicates of C1, C2 and C3 for female buds; the male buds were named T2 with three replicates of C4, C5 and C6 for male buds; the protandry was named X and the female buds were named M1 with three replicates of X1, X2 and X3 for female buds; and the male buds were named M2 with three replicates of X4, X5 and X6 for male buds. The total number of samples was 12.
