Progress Party and EC Study, 1973

The main purposes of the survey are to examine: #1) Labour market attitudes, i.e. the respondent's attitude to the results of recent collective bargaining. #2) Attitudes to Danish membership of the EC, i.e. the respondent's present attitude as compared with actual vote at the EC referendum in October 1972, and reasons for changes of attitude, if any. #3) The respondent's voting intention at a hypothetical general election the day after the interview, and actual vote at the last general election. #4) In cases where the Progress Party (Fremskridtspartiet) and its leader, Mogens Glistrup, were chosen or mentioned, the respondent was asked about her/his reasons for this party preference and about possible political alternatives if the Progress Party did not have any parliamentary candidates in the respondent's constituency; if the respondent did not mention the Progress Party, questions were asked concerning the respondent's attitude to the Progress Party and possibilities of voting for Progress Party candidates
