Influenza B sequencing

This study is an observational clinical study of adults infected with influenza B. Given the importance of CD8 T-cells in controlling influenza infection, we sought to examine whether there is evidence of influenza evolution at identified CD8 T-cell epitope regions. For one of the individuals in the study, influenza B whole genome sequencing was performed to characterize influenza virus variants. Overall, this data contributes to our understanding of evolutionary forces on influenza B virus evolution.
