An original typing of the report signed by B.S. Stevens and containing a summary of moves made during the 1920's towards a reorganisation of the government's accounting systems, together with details of reforms affected and those still to be instituted. The report is concerned mainly with the Treasury and its relations with other departments. It concentrates on investigations carried out by B.S. Stevens as both an inspector for the Public Service Board and as Assistant Under Secretary and Under Secretary of the Treasury.
