An Empirical Study of Stack Overflow Newcomers' Participation During Pre and Post-pandemic Covid-19

This is a research artefact for the paper: An Empirical Study of Stack Overflow Newcomers’ Participation During Pre and Post-pandemic Covid-19. A study that identifies the characteristics, patterns, and responsiveness of new users on the online discussion forum Stack Overflow, which focuses on the Python programming language. Using Stack Overflow's repository of questions, answers, question comments, and answer comments from the pre-pandemic and post-pandemic periods of Covid-19. This artefact aims to enable researchers to replicate our mixed-methods quantitative results of the paper and reuse the dataset for further software engineering research.
