X-ray fluorescence (XRF) scans of sediment core MD95-2016

The XRF Elemental ratios (Si/Sr, Ca/Sr, Sr/Rb, Ti/K, Zr/Sr, Ca/Fe, Ti/Ca, Ti/Fe) measured in sediment core MD95-2016. The MD95-2016 (Latitude: 57.707667 * Longitude: -29.424000) was retrieved in the North Atlantic Ocean at the Reykijanes Ridges (2318 m water depth) during the IMAGES MD101 cruise of R/V Marion Dufresne using the Calypso Corer (CALYPSO) . The XRF measurements cover the last 606 ka or 25.18 m of sediment. The XRF have been carried out on U-Channels samples and obtained from high-resolution micro-core X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry using the XRF core scanner AVAATECH (EPOC, Université de Bordeaux), using a 10 keV source with 0.5 mA current.
