16S rRNA -based rumen bacterial composition of dairy calves fed milk replacer supplemented with essential oils

Bacterial community composition analysis using the phylogenetic marker 16S rRNA gene on rumen digesta samples collected from dairy calves fed milk replacer supplemented with essential oils. The purpose was to investigate the effects of essential supplementation on the composition of rumen bacteria in growing dairy calves.
