Data sets for conditioned media and flow cytometry for menMSC comparison with BMSCs

Analysis of cell surface markers of cultured meniscal-derived stem cells (menMSCs) and bone marrow-derived stem cells (BMSCs), as well as conditioned media experiments with stimulated synoviocytes. Conditioned media experiments were performed on cells isolated from n=5 horses. Flow cytometry was performed on cells isolated from n=3 horses. Flow cytometry markers used were CD90, CD44, CD29, CD34, and equine MHCII. Conditioned media experiments included synoviocytes stimulated with IL-1B and treated with menMSC- and BMSC-conditioned cell culture media. Resulting culture media was measured for prostaglandin E-2 and hyaluronan content.
