ARED-Plus

AREs are conserved sequence elements that were first discovered in the 3′UTR of mammalian transcripts. Over the past years, we compiled a series of ARE databases that revealed the extent and wide distribution of ARE-containing genes. For this update, we adopted an optimized search algorithm with improved specificity and sensitivity in ARE selection.

AU富集元件(AREs)是一类保守的序列元件，最初在哺乳动物转录本的3′非翻译区(3′UTR)中被发现。过往数年间，我们构建了多套ARE数据库，揭示了含ARE基因的分布范围与广泛分布特征。本次更新中，我们采用了经过优化的搜索算法，在ARE筛选环节实现了特异性与灵敏度的双重提升。
