Master Analytical Dataset: ESP-Content Collaborative Teaching and Longitudinal Student Motivation Frameworks (Vols. 1–7)

Project Overview This repository hosts the comprehensive longitudinal research dataset tracking student motivational trajectories, self-efficacy, and structural receptiveness in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Integrating Content and Language in Higher Education (ICLHE) settings. Grounded in an integrated Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) and Expectancy-Value Theory (EVT) framework, this project monitors the pedagogical efficacy of collaborative, interdisciplinary interventions across multiple undergraduate and postgraduate student cohorts. Current Data Release Structure This single repository record contains the primary quantitative and qualitative analytical assets across the first two foundational volumes of the project lifecycle: Volume 1: Student Comparison & Longitudinal Analysis (Aggregated multi-cohort datasets tracking developmental shifts across Pre-Class, Post-Class, and Final Evaluation phases). Open-ended qualitative responses are systematically cataloged via a 10-step inductive coding process, while quantitative metrics map directly to core SCT constructs (Self-Efficacy, Proximal Goal Setting, Outcome Expectations) and EVT dimensions (Attainment Value, Intrinsic Value, Utility Value, and Perceived Cost). All student data has been completely anonymized to preserve institutional and participant privacy.
