Supporting datasets for Compartment-Specific Structuring and Integrated Characterization of a Multispecies Biofilm in a Medical Device Manufacturing Environment
收藏资源简介:
Supporting datasets for the manuscript "Compartment-Specific Structuring and Integrated Characterization of a Multispecies Biofilm in a Medical Device Manufacturing Environment". Data S1 contains consensus nucleotide sequences of ten cultured biofilm isolates: five bacterial 16S rRNA sequences and five fungal ITS sequences. The archive includes combined and marker-specific FASTA files, isolate metadata, sequence lengths, IUPAC ambiguity counts, source-file checksums and a README. Laboratory isolate identifiers and nucleotide sequences are preserved. Manuscript taxonomic assignments and source submission taxon labels are provided in the metadata. Data S2 contains processed bacterial 16S rRNA and fungal ITS amplicon data from nine biofilm samples collected from a bath, water overflow and water tank in a medical device manufacturing installation. Each compartment is represented by three samples. The analysis datasets comprise 331 bacterial ASVs and 312 Fungi-classified ASVs, including non-rarefied feature counts, representative nucleotide sequences, taxonomy assignments and read-tracking statistics. Original DADA2 and classifier exports, 16 QIIME 2 artifacts or visualisations, sample metadata, validation results and file checksums are included. The original fungal DADA2 dataset contains 947 ASVs before matching to the 312 Fungi-classified ASVs used for the analysis dataset. Both processing stages are retained. Metadata link source library identifiers to the sample identifiers used in the manuscript. Analysis counts and read-tracking results were verified against Supplementary Tables S21 and S22. Preparation of the archive did not re-denoise reads, edit sequences, rarefy samples or perform new statistical inference. This record contains the Sanger consensus sequences and processed metabarcoding data. Raw FASTQ reads and the large intermediate trimmed-read artifact are not included in these archives. Detailed file descriptions are provided in each archive README.
