## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nList (spreadsheet) and shapefile of coal mines and deposits for the HUN subregion. List current as a June 2014\n\n\n\nCoal mine list compiled from two sources – Register of Australian Mining 2013-2014 (RAM) and the OZMIN data for the HUN subregion area. Mines and deposits are listed in spreadsheet with geo-location data. Dataset includes a point shapefile generated from the spreadsheet for report map display.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nCoal mine list compiled from two sources Register of Australian Mining 2013-2014 (RAM) and the OZMIN data that GA has provided. Duplication from the two sources has been removed and RAM used in preference to OZMIN as it is more up to date and provides more detail on operating mines. The spreadsheet shows the data source.
