Hybrid Genome Assembly of Withania somnifera combining Illumina short reads and Oxford Nanopore long reads

This project presents hybrid genome sequencing of Withania somnifera using Illumina short-read and Oxford Nanopore long-read platforms to generate a high-quality genome assembly. The resulting data provide valuable genomic resources for understanding the biosynthesis of medicinally important withanolides and for advancing comparative and functional genomics studies in this species.
