These abstracts show, within each financial year, wages received by employees for each weekly pay period, total weekly and monthly salaries paid, salaries received by each employee for each month. From 15 January 1860 weekly wage sheets were kept, showing the daily salary rate for each employee, amounts deducted for lost time, value of overtime worked, total salary paid. No progressive figure of salaries paid was carried forward. In 1869 monthly pay abstracts were compiled for each branch of the Government Printing Office, abstracts were compiled monthly. The yearly salary rate for each officer is also shown.1858-63 (1/7), 1869 (1/8). 2 vols.
