资源简介:
On the basis of previous work, this study first made clear that BEPD plays an antagonistic role against the invasion of Candida albicans by activating HIF-1a pathway to improve hypoxia adaptation and regulating glucose metabolism to restore immune function. The results not only revealed the pathogenic chain of "metabolic disorder-immunosuppression" in the process of Candida albicans infection, but also confirmed the application potential of BEPD as a metabolic regulator in anti-fungal infection. More importantly, this study suggests that HIF-1a pathway and glucose metabolism homeostasis regulation can be used as a new direction of antibacterial and antiviral therapy, which provides important theoretical support for developing new anti-infective drugs targeting metabolic reprogramming, and also opens up new ideas for solving clinical fungal drug resistance problems.
