Dugesia japonica is an excellent animal model for studying the regeneration mechanism. In order to obtain more accurate transcripts sequences without complete reference genome, 1 library mixed the samples including intact worm and tail fragments at 1, 3 and 5 days after amputation was conducted for single-molecule real-time sequencing (SMRT). This study provides a powerful data foundation for further research on planarians.
