The proposed energy efficient power allocation scheme for a massive MIMO system. Users are divided into two groups. The first group are users who are close to BS and the second group are users who are at the edge of the cell. An efficient power allocation algorithm is presented and the implementation results confirms that it outperforms the equal power allocation scheme.
