This record contains data collected on the RV Southern Surveyor, between July 21 and August 15 2005. The data were collected across two legs. Leg 1 samples were collected between Dampier and Freemantle, and Leg 2 samples were collected between two locations off Freemantle. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and retrieved chlorophyll a estimate of the water column. 41 stations were sampled. Samples were collected and analysed for pigments.
