资源简介:
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have become a global framework for addressing pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. Given the critical role of younger generations in achieving these goals, this study aims to measure the understanding of Generation Z (Gen Z) regarding SDG ideas and programs through a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach at Bina Nusantara University. This research adopts a qualitative method with interview approach to assess students' comprehension before and after participating in SDGs-oriented PBL activities. The findings indicate a significant increase in students' understanding of SDG concepts, particularly in climate action, gender equality, and responsible consumption. Moreover, the study reveals that PBL fosters cognitive understanding and a stronger emotional connection to the importance of SDGs, encouraging students to engage in real-world applications of the knowledge gained. However, challenges such as limited generalizability and the need for further longitudinal studies are acknowledged. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on educational strategies for promoting SDGs awareness among Gen Z, offering insights into the effectiveness of PBL as a pedagogical tool. The study suggests that integrating PBL into curricula could be a powerful approach to cultivating a knowledgeable and proactive generation that can address global sustainability challenges. Here attached qualitative data about this project.
