***Homo sapiens*** (archaic) Location: Swanscombe, Kent, England. Age: 200,000 - 300,000 years BP. Material: epoxy resin cast. Dimensions: length, 114 mm; width, 110 mm; height, 39 mm. Notes: RLA catalog no. 2501.1rp58-3 (cast). Cranium (right parietal). One of three skull fragments from the same individual. Young female. Two fragments were discovered in 1935-1936 by Alvan T. Marston. The third fragment was discovered in 1955 by A. Gibson and J. Wymer. Also classified as *Homo heidelbergensis*. Cast made by the Wenner-Gren Foundation Casting Program at the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania.
