Lepomis gibbosus_Turkey

This dataset contains morphometric and biological data of the invasive pumpkinseed sunfish Lepomis gibbosus collected from the Geyik Reservoir (Muğla, Türkiye). The data was gathered during a field sampling period between May 2025 and April 2026. 

The dataset includes comprehensive measurements for each sampled individual, such as:- Weight (W) and Eviscerated Weight (Boş W)- Length measurements: Total Length (TL), Fork Length (FL), and Standard Length (SL)- Sex (Cinsiyet) and Gonad Maturity Stages (Gonad Evresi)- Gonad Weight

This data provides insights into the population structure, growth parameters, and reproductive biology of Lepomis gibbosus in a Mediterranean reservoir context, supporting the associated research article.

MethodsSampling was conducted monthly using electrofishing at Geyik Reservoir. All laboratory analyses, including length-weight measurements and macroscopic sex determination, followed standard fisheries biology protocols.
