Students' Attitudes and Parental Involvement in Balinese Language Learning

This dataset contains survey and interview data collected from 1,020 high school students and seven parents in Bali, Indonesia, as part of a study on Balinese language learning attitudes and parental involvement. The dataset includes responses from a structured questionnaire assessing students’ cognitive, affective, and behavioral attitudes toward Balinese, as well as perceived parental support. Additionally, qualitative interview transcripts provide insights into parental strategies and challenges in supporting language learning. The data were collected between April and July, 2024 and analyzed using mixed methods. This dataset can be used for further research on language revitalization, education policy, and sociolinguistics.
