Areca Gully Restoration Project - Extending the Existing Wildlife Corridor

This project will build on previous restoration work carried out by Tamborine Mountain Landcare in the Areca Gully which forms part of an ongoing 'Corridors Regeneration Project.' Activities will extend this rainforest wildlife corridor by further eradication of significant weeds, such as Lantana camara, and replanting with 1,000 plants using appropriate indigenous species. These will add to the diversity of the plant communities and support a number of threatened flora and fauna species.
