资源简介:
In 2009 the population was exposed to a new pandemic influenza virus, A (H1N1), which caused illness in many young people, including pregnant women. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health established the pregnancy cohort NorFlu to evaluate the consequences of influenza while pregnant. The objective of the project was to study the long and short term consequences of influenza during pregnancy. We were interested in the effect of influenza on the mother and the child, as well as in the long term development of the child. The cohort consisted of 4400 women who were pregnant during the pandemic, and their children. The analysis included data from surveys, health registries, clinical examinations and blood samples from the mother and from the child. The data is stored in the NorFlu database and in the biobank at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
