The Impact of AI Chatbots Usage on Indonesian Higher Education Students

Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that has the ability to create or produce content such as text, images, videos, and audio by analyzing existing algorithms and datasets. Due to its capabilities, it is no surprise that generative AI has been adopted by various groups, including students, professionals, artists, and many others. It has been proven that generative AI can significantly reduce both work time and effort, allowing tasks to be completed more quickly and efficiently. This thesis aims to explore the impact of the emergence of Generative AI on higher education students, as well as the factors that drive the high adoption rate of Generative AI. The findings of this research also consider potential areas for improvement in the services provided by Generative AI.
