Governmental target of coal production in Indonesia 2015-2024

In 2024, the Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) has targeted to produce 710 million metric tons of coal. Indonesia's target for coal production have been constantly increasing in the past years. As of 2022, coal made up over 60% of the country’s energy mix.
