EFFECTS OF SELENIUM AND VITAMIN E SUPPLEMENTATION ON ANTIOXIDANT STATUS AND REPRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE IN WAGYU HEIFERS

This study aimed to monitor the effects of selenium (Se) and vitamin E supplementation on reproductive indicators in breeding cows and to evaluate the impact of Se and vitamin E supplementation on the antioxidant potential of the organism after parturition. The hypothesis is that supranutritional doses of antioxidants (Se and vitamin E) will have a beneficial effect on reproductive traits, health status, and the antioxidant status of Wagyu heifers.
