OsWRKY53 responded to both wounding and wound-derived peptide, OsPep2 treatment. We have performed ChIP-seq experiments to determine the contribution of OsWRKY53 to both wounding as well as OsPep2 treatment. Plants expressing GFP tagged WRKY under native promoter was used for all the experiments. Peptide treatment was administered to the six-week-old leaf strips. 1 µM was used for treatment. The leaf strips were collect according to the time point and crosslinked before freezing. The frozen samples were ground and used for further experiments.
