VPRS 18832 Minutes of the Weekly Meetings of the Visiting Committee

This series comprises volumes of minutes of the weekly meetings of the Visiting Committee of Bendigo Gold District Hospital and the Bendigo and Northern District Base Hospital (VA 1264). The minutes were created to record summary details of the activities of the VisitingCommittee including matters discussed at meetings, decisions made on matters brought before the Committee and applications for relief from destitute persons. Some volumes have loose binding. Records in custody span 1873 - 1952, however whether there were Visiting Committee minutes outside of this date range is subject to further research.
