This dataset corresponds to the headspace mixing ratios (ppbv) of the BVOCs of interest for all experiments conducted. These datasets were used to generate the plots and tables for the manuscript entitled, "A Closed-Loop System for the Semi-Continuous Measurement of Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds from Marine Organisms". Plots for a-pinene were a result of the average of the headspace mixing ratios for α-pinene (m/z 137.132 ) and the primary fragment (m/z 81.070). Data points for all figures in the manuscript were extracted from the last minute of measurement from each chamber with the exception of Figures S3-S4 which contain the data points for the entire chamber measurement of 15 minutes. All headspace mixing ratios reported here were converted to ppbv by multiplying the raw counts per second data by the sensitivity (cps/ppbv) reported in Table 3 of the manuscript and corrected for humidity. Data under the tabs "Linearity" "Reproducability" and "Equilibration Time" have also been corrected for adsorptive losses using the compound-specific correction factor listed in the manuscript. All data is blank corrected except for the tab "Reproducability", where blank chamber values are provided. The methodology used to collect this dataset is described in the manuscript.
