Causes of zooplankton interannual variability at Station L4 in the English Channel

Weekly sampling of zooplankton species at station L4 in the English
Channel has been carried out since 1988. In addition, there are
shorter series of copepod egg production, of phytoplankton species and
environmental parameters. This project will assemble the observations
in appropriate graphical form, both as a hard copy and on a website.
A 1D model of copepod egg production taking account of food type will
be constructed, based on an existing model of phytoplankton seasonal
succession and used to examine interannual variability at L4. The
interannual population changes at the station will be examined using
multi-variate analysis.
