SMVG analysis of human oral microbiome and oral pathogens. metagenome

Microbial vesicles (MVs), nano-particles produced by bacteria, are one of the mediators of human diseases. The profiling of significant MV-producing bacterial groups is a key to understand relationship between MVs and health status. In this project, DNA sequences inside MVs were comprehensively analyzed at single-particle resolution by Single-Microbial-Vesicle-Genomics (SMVG) to obtain the profiles of MV-producing bacteria in human saliva.
