We have examined whether mouse pancreatic duct organoids can differentiate into tuft cells. When we withdrew nicotinamide from the organoid culture medium, we observed tuft cell differentiation, which was confirmed by the increased expression of DCLK1 and TRPM5, markers indicative of tuft cell development.
