This dataset is the statistics table of bamboo forest area and standing stem count from the 6th National First-Class Forest Inventory. It covers the total bamboo forest area, moso bamboo area, total moso bamboo standing stems, moso bamboo standing stems in bamboo forests, scattered moso bamboo standing stems, non-moso bamboo area and non-moso bamboo standing stems across 21 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government in China.
