Images and GIS Data from an Evaluation at Cherry Orchard Farm, Higham-on-the-Hill, Leicestershire, 2022-2023.

This collection comprises images and GIS files from an archaeological evaluation carried out by Cotswold Archaeology at Land at Cherry Orchard Farm, Higham-on-the-Hill, Leicestershire, 2022-2023. A total of 15 trenches were excavated across the 3.35ha site. The results of the trial trenching broadly confirmed those of a preceding programme of geophysical survey. The remains of two distinct ridge and furrow agricultural systems were identified by the geophysical survey and encountered within the trenches.
